Neil's Mundan

We did Neil’s head shaving ceremony on 2/10/05. Everything went well and my brave boy didnt cry.. Of course, things doesnt always go smoothly for me and this wasn’t an exception.. I(or rather DH) lost my digital camera in the taxi. This is how it went.. DH, Neil and I were in the taxi, Dh took Neil and alighted from the taxi and left me to
1.pay the fare and get the change
2.Get the diaper bag.
3.Get the stroller from the trunk

Now he always straps the camera around his waist, I thinking that it was with him just took the stroller out of the trunk and banged it and rushed to the temple steps. Dh then asks me, “Is the camera with you?” I am like what? Dont you have it with you? And of course he said NO.. Well needless to say, I called the taxi company and lodged a lost and found report. So far I havent heard anything from them and frankly am not expecting to recover my camera *sob sob*
So now I have no camera! and that shucks!
Luckily, Bhua(aunt) brought hers and we managed to capture the shaving ceremony, after which we proceeded to the Madras Woodlands Ganga restaurant. Lunch was a buffet and they had an overwhelming variety of food. From Idli to Pav Bhaaji, Naan to Gulab Jamun. All in all we had a short and sweet ceremony despite our camera loss!
