After many take offs and landings, we came home exhausted. Every single bone ached and not only that, I had a terrible head flu/cold/sinus crap going on.
The best thing abt going away for 2 months is when the children saw their toys and sat down and played with them as though they are all new.
We all have horrible jet lag. The past 3 days, kids have been getting up at 6.30a/m, sleeping from 1p/m to 6p/m and then playing till 3a/m. It was hell.. right now it is 2p/m and all 4 are watching a movie. I am hoping they sleep at 7 p/m till 5a/m.
Funny thing happened yesterday at the park:
Indian Lady at the park(ILATP) asked Ashwina whether she liked India.
Ashwina said NO.
ILATP asked why?
Because India is not civilized.
What??
I asked her what does civilized mean.
She listed her points
There are no paved sidewalks(??), no high rise buildings, no technology and the worst of it all according to her, MEN PEEING IN PUBLIC.
I remember that was the first thing that hit me too when I visited India for the first time.
Then she goes on to say, its too muddy and has too many flies. The roads are bad and the there is too much honking. I told her to stop after that and ILATP just kept quiet.
She didn’t know what to say.

I don’t know…She makes some valid points. But the experience had to have been good for her, so there’s that.
She said it like she saw it.
And hey…it was indeed a pity we couldn’t meet up when I was in CO!
Maybe next time..:)
lol i can’t believe ILATP took it quietly. i’ve been threatened to be beaten up if i say anything bad about india!!
