I did the first post here . My scale died in the 3rd-4th week of my vacation in Singapore. I had my mum’s old analog scale. I thought it was highly inaccurate.
I did however walk with my poles every day if not on alternate days. I controlled my diet although it was hard resisting the local food. But I did.
We went to India. Again I tried controlling portions and resisting gulab jamuns and rasmallais.
It was more difficult to go out for 30-40 mins to walk because the kids were all extra clingy. But I tried ![]()
I went to the park yesterday and almost all the ladies asked me what I did and how I lost my weight. Since I dont have a scale right now(a fancy new one is on its way) I dont know how much I lost but I do know my size 14s are loose. I also know I lost 3 inches in my neck, 4 in my waist and another 2 in my hips(sparkpeople.com, I recorded those values in Mar).
Am I happy with my weight loss? I think I am. I doing the slow and steady way. I do wish that the pounds will magically drop as easily as they appear on the scale. It doesnt happen that way though does it now.
Anyways here is a picture taken today. Its dirty and blurry, The kids were sleeping and I used the mirror trick.I also added the April one wearing the same outfit.
This one taken today

You definitely do look smaller. I’ll bet you’re dying to know what the scale says.
Hgal-
I dont know. I was tempted to jump on the baggage scale at the airport LOL.
OTOH, I feel that the scale will not reflect a huge loss and I will be dissappointed
We’ll see, I bought a fancy Omron one which supposedly is highly accurate
Way to go!
You look like you have lost some weight for sure!If not too many pounds, your body looks toned and fit
Good job!
You’re lookin great girl! Glad you guys made it home safe and sound.
No matter what the scale says – you look great!
Wowww awesomeeeeee..u definitely have lsot weight!! Way to go Shraikh!!
you have done great! dont know about the scale, cant promise anything, you know about muscle being so damn heavy and stuff, but toning has happened
Ahhhh!!! I’m in the same boat, have 17kgs to lose, though I’ve ahem yet to go on the walking stage. Am still trying to convince myself to stop binging. You know, prepare myself mentally etc 1st.
Way to go, I’ll try to jump into the boat when I’ve finished my last packet of chocolate wafers from Paris…You know, not easy to find nice chocolate wafers.
In the meantime, here’s something for you :
