Group Ownership

I read this piece of news. The gist of it, 13 women pool together money to buy a 15K diamond necklace.  They even named the necklace, Julia. Each woman gets a month to wear it.

One woman claimed when she put on the necklace, she said the necklace felt out of place. “She looked frumpy and overweight and not worthy of the necklace.” So she set out to lose weight and make herself worthy of it, I guess.

Another one claims she had “fracture in her spirit” She was going through a divorce and the women rallied around her.

They are even writing a book on it. Titled.. of course, The Necklace. I wonder what happens if one of them fight. Do the rest buy her out?

It’s an interesting concept. I might want to do it but not on a necklace. One of the things I would want is a cabin in the mountains  or a house on the beach. We’ll all take turns going for vacations there. Anyone out there wants to pool money for this? Heck, I will give the rights to the book if you want .
