If someone is pissing me off

and it started with a comment left on a old post and I deleted the comment. I then emailed her to stay the fuck away(in nice language no cuss words) and she comes back to tell me that I am more rude, Should I

a) publish her emails and comments?

b)Send her emails to my sisters and let them deal with her?

c)drink more mojitos and understand that there are people in the world who have way too much time on their hands and I should be more zen-like

d)publish this post and let the junta decide?

I don’t think it’s ever okay to publish emails, no matter how frustrated you are, but that’s my personal taboo, partially because I’ve certainly sent things in emails that I wouldn’t want them to reproduce (though nothing nasty, just things I wouldn’t expect to see made public). I think once you publish what’s essentially private correspondance, you break people’s trust that you would never do that to them, even if you’re angry with them.

Me:See Angie, I need to be all zen-like how you are. I think I should just let the whole damm thing roll off my shoulders.. My sisters when they get up tomorrow morning will be so pissed

  2. Renu says:

    Hey,

Just forget about it, yeah she was really rude and all but lets
rise above this and not supply her with more facts about how
u are not a “proper person” whatever that maybe be in her twisted opnion.

Go with option C, if u were here would have brouhgt you to a cuban bar in clarke quay, really good mohitos there.

Right am going to have my chai and breakfast just started my day at work..

PS: All this is just going to get sheetal started again.

    Me:Okay advise taken!

There are nut cases in the blog world and the best way to deal with them is to shun them.

People who write nasty notes to strangers (anonymously or not) are doing so because they want to upset you, offend you, make you angry, get a reaction out of you, make you give them your attention so they feel important.

    I found this for you:
Your blog is not YOU. “The commentator cannot touch your inner self, unless you give them permission to so don’t open that inner door and give your power away. Take responsibility, develop a comment policy and either post the comment and refute the contents or delete it and blog on”.

Me:My policy towards personal stuff is going to be deleting from onwards

Despite u telling her to stay away, she keeps coming back to count yr cuss words? She has No life or No shame to keep coming back?Or coz she is Anonymous?

Actually Mr, (Or Miss/Mrs./Madam or whatever) Anonymous, are not the only person that leaves nasty comments. There are some other people that do it too. The difference between you and them is that they leave their name. Leaving their name does not take away from the nastiness, however I give them credit for at least having the guts to say what they have to say without hiding behind anonymity. So go ahead and shed your cloak of anonymity.

It is okay to disagree with the blogger but do it in a way that shows maturity and respect. Then I will applaud u

She is not worth of yours or any of the reader’s time. Dun give her too much importance.

Do u need her to certify you, if you are an incredible mother or not? Everyone knows u r. So U dun need her certification..

So, basically, the only effective way to react to them is not to react at all, or tell them they’re funny, or that you’re sorry for them.

Me:Yup. Not reacting. Not bothered. In fact, will make this post pswd protected in a few days.

  4. i say fuck ‘em. *gasp* oh look I used a bad word :D

will we go to mommy jail now Sraikh?!

Me:Yes and with cuffs on your hands and no food and water. LOL

honestly – i wouldnt publish the email not for any other reason than that i think these losers want to ride on our shoulders for a little fame. so dont give them what they crave.

    delete. delete. delete.

Me:Deleted and not going to bother about such stuff again. See I am a virgin at this troll business. I need to learn from you :)

  5. Zia says:

I agree with all of the above! Don’t give them the satisfaction they want. in fact………….don’t think, don’t care, don’t look………………….they are TRASH!!! SPAM!!! Parasites in the society..

    Have a nice day!

Me:Waves Hello at Zia. Where have you been? How are things with you? And yes ignoring is going to be my policy from onwards.

  6. Angie says:

Ha! Not zen, but I have a lot of experience with internet trolls. I’ve had a few of my own ;)

  7. Suki says:

I’ll agree with all. Only one thing – when it’s comment trolls, I publish them and just leave it there. Deleting links. Now the whole world is witness to their stupidity.
But wait… these are usually attention whores. So I guess ignoring them is the best policy.

  8. chandni says:

C sounds more like it darling.

Or otherwise, show em to me. I love being mean.

  9. poo says:

i say LET THE SISTAZ DEAL WIT DEM!!! they a buncha garrraang homiez im tellin ya!

  10. you bet man. ignore. why give the pathetic creatures any fame? if they want fame – let them go start their own blog. or show them to chandni and me. we’ll deal with them :D
