The plants all survived. 2-3 saucers broke but thats all. The peace lilly (not pictured here) is doing badly though. She toppled over and her roots were exposed for 3 days. I did repot and am hopping she would come. I think I need to divide her up as well. After buying the cactus and succulents, I read IHM’s post on cactus and death in the house. I am not getting rid of them though.
All the rooms and the backyard are North-South facing. Only the girls room get some sun. I am hoping the plants in the yard will make it with the 2 hours of sunshine they get. Like me, the plants are learning to find their spot here.

You have a green thumb! My plants don’t last from one summer to the next. How did you keep them during the Colorado winter? I thought I’d keep them inside this time but they are still shriveling up on me! Any tips?
Me:They came inside during the winter months. Thats why I only have this few. Most plants die either by over or underwatering. A good book to read is 36(37 I forgot now) Houseplants that even YOU cant Kill. Pretty basic stuff. I started out with this. http://asaaan.wordpress.com/2006/07/20/my-auntmms-mom-will-be-so-proud/ The peace lilly I wa stalking about is in the blue pot. and check out the different in tall palm like plant.
Hey, thanks Sraikh! That’s a big help!
Lovely plants! Unfortunately I have a black thumb for these things.
I get it now. We do the same thing with artwork. When we move into a new place, as soon as we get all our paintings and framed photos up on the walls, it instantly feels like home. So now I get your plant obsession. =)
