I wasnt sure whether we were going to get a tree. Yesterday while unpacking one of Neil’s boxes(yes its been a month and there are still boxes lying around), I found our Christmas ornaments. I made my mind to get a tree this weekend. With the entire gang. But this afternoon after my workday at the co-op preschool and dropping NK off at work(this is a whole blog post in itself), it was 1.30, both boys were sleeping and I had to pick the girls up at 2.35p/m. Instead of going home, I decided to go to the Christmas tree at the parking lot, that way, the boys can sleep in the van and I can pick out the tree.
I picked one out, a garland for the fireplace and the tree stand. $60 dollars later, we came home and decorated it. Last year, we did a popcorn and cranberry garland. I might make some on Sat. Everyone helped, even Samar. He did the lower branches, The girls help me string the lights.. all in all a good 2 hours was spent. The house smells wonderful.

For some who *claims* that she doesnt celebrate Christmas, the house sure looks Christmassy. I need to get better pictures. I used the phone’s camera.

Avesha’s ornament is fabulous! Is that her pic in there? Nice!
I think your hand wasn’t very steady for some of the pics maybe? They seem a little blurred. Or is that the phone?
I am excited about this now… we are going to do up our tree this weekend now.
Me: And yes thats her picture. Neil has one too with his picture. They made it in school last year. The phone does suck taking pictures in low light. My camera is dead. I swapped 2 pictures with 2 taken with NK’s Iphone.Post pictures of your tree.

Nice! We bought a 2-foot fake tree with the lights already put on. We just plugged it in and we were done. Haha… next year we’ll get a real tree. I really admire how much you are able to get done with 4 kids!
Me:And give up the smell of the pine. Thats why I have a tree..because I love the smell.:) I told you, the way i deal with the craziness of having 4 is drinking and blogging
