at least she talked to you. I’m sure my son would just ignore me :)

But yes…its a strange feeling just thinking about it :)

Me: rofl abt ignoring you. When she cam home in the afternoon, she said it was fun and will I log in at her recess time every day. :)

  2. Nat says:

Ugh, I have goose bumps all over. I ddin’t know they are allowed to use the email at school. They shoudln’t be allowed.

Me: She has been using the internet since 1st grade. The kids do alot of “research” online as well.

  3. Mimi says:

wowww..they can check emails at school??

Me: Yes, I think she has 2-3 computers in her class as well. The teacher even emails them. They check a lot of things online as well.

  4. Perakath says:

You do know she wasn’t at school at all, but playing truant down at the mall, right? :)

Me: That hopefully doesnt happen. The schools here give you a call on the day your child is absent, :)

  5. Geekette says:

Oh wow Sunita! I can only imagine how freaked out you must have been.

I’m very glad she was at school.

Me: My first thought was that someone hacked into her a/c.

  6. NM says:

Hey, thats sounds scary. Its time for me to start getting ready for such stuff…my son is almost 6 :) But atleast she was honest to you and logged off when you asked her to. Great

Me: maybe she went into to stealth mode. Who knows.

  7. spamwarrior says:

LOL! I know, I’ve received IMs from my friends who are supposed to be in school… and they ARE… but… weird.

    Me: :)

  8. choxbox says:

sometimes i wish the internet did not exist. i mean we grew up w/o it and we’re fine, aren’t we?

    aren’t we?

  9. suma says:

thankfully teh kids at school here are forbidden to access mails…*crossing her fingers…

    scary, nah?

  10. Sumana says:

That must have been real scary. Let her access the net and email and chat once in a while but she should be communicative about what she does or the teachers keep watching as to whom they are chatting with or the content is saved ona proxy server or something. But seriously these are somethings that every parents has to deal with and i hope we trust our kids and they turn out to be ultra responsible. All the best.

ahah… i understand.. my mum was at that state too when she saw me online in gtalk too often while she was at work. i was busy shooing her off from gtalk and telling her to get to work while she was busy trying to get me to log off n make proper use of my study break! LOL
