This morning, when I woke up and checked my email, to say I was touched is putting it mildly. All the comments and email assuring me its not my fault, hoping and praying for Samar to recover touched me to my core. Some of the comments brought tears to my eyes, some were painful thinking about the other babies(and moms) who were in similar pain and others were just plain encouraging.
Today feels so much better. He slept well, woke up at 2 a/m for water and scratched just abit. Then the boys went off to their summer camp.
The girls and I headed off to Target to do school supplies shopping. After that we went across to Marshalls and did more retail therapy. I bought a cute African inspired dress(which I am still not sure about), Ashwina got sneakers and Avasha didnt want anything. I feel refreshed after a morning out with my older kids. Ready to take on the next challenge, bring it on.

Me: We did the same thing today, it was the 2nd day of camp. We had so much fun shopping. It was blast. i cannot wait till they are teens and we all go shopping.
I have always found the blogging community to be full of amazingly nice people, so its no surprise, everyone was concerned, and full of support. You are a great mom, there is no doubt about that. And retail therapy… always rocks for me.

err.. why do you call it gross? at the risk of sounding irritatingly glass-is-half-full-ish, it could’ve been much much worse, no?
Me: It is gross and peeling and dry and all yucky looking. There is no glass full here, its just plain gross.. and I will forever scare the pedicure ladies with the horrible scar it’s going to leave behind.
