After I published the last post, I went to the gym. Had aso-so workout,still no cardio.I threw on this wide belt which came with a knitted skirt(I have never used this wide belt). I didnt really like the effect of the belt. It makes me feel like some star wars person with my flowing jacket. Came back home,fed the kids lunch and while Samar was napping, I went to check out the outfits in my closet.
I threw on the red shirt and liked the red combo better although it still requires something.
The black one I am on the fence. Ashwina said she didnt like the skinny belt.Her reaction to the wide belt, It looks really cute Mom. Wearing a wide belt has certain (dis)advantages. One eats less since the belt holds everything in.Also my mirror needs to be cleaned. and I need to brush my hair. This black coral necklace, Nk bought it from an estate sale.
Nk came home and said this outfit looks like a bathrobe. Pffft
I love the first outfit and the belt. I’m going shopping tomorrow and if say, I find a similar design, I’d certainly grab it.
You know, I think I’m going to buy belts and necklaces too. I’ve always been plain and boring when it comes to styling.

Me: Thanks Dugi. I need to shop for bras a apparently my girls have ahem lost some weight. Most women wouldnt be too happy with this news but I am thrilled, having ample to spare. rofl.

The first outfit looks good either way, though I would preffer the without the belt one. To me, once you put the belt on, and concentrate all that flowing material around your hips, you need to balance it with something around your neck.
Me: I’m I should throw on a necklace but really i wasnt going anywhere so why to bother
The second one, WOW! Go with the belt every time! What a beautiful way to make an otehr wise boring t-shirt in something that shows off your boobs and waist. I wouold just lift the belt up a bit in front.
Me: I feel the boobs are too much in focus
Actually, the ladies have shrunk and I need to go and bye some better fitting bras.
The third, definately don’t wear the white top with nothing, butu that belt seem a bit too small. Maybe one of those little scarves around your neck will look better
Me: Ohh nice, I will dig something from my closet. I have a long skinny scarf hidden somewhere.
And as a side note, wowsy, you’re beocming really skinny!!!!

. For the other two, a belt and necklace (I think) have added charm to them..
Me: I love the first outfit, without the belt. It makes me feel femine with the flowing fabric. NK, I tend to do the opposite of what he suggests. Really, thats how we are surviving our marriage years. he ignores me, I ignore him and no one gets pissed.
I love the second outfit – though part of that may be my major, major love for red
Me: I love this color. Its a dusky red, I just bought another bright chilli red. Will see how it looks on my skin.

Well I love the wide belt you have not really sure if it worked on your outfits..I liked it better without them..probably it might work with some other outfit? a dress perhaps?….right now my style mantra is an old pair of jeans and kurtis…(hides all the oodles of weight under hee hee)

Me:Now that I am looking for belts, I see everyone wearing them. I didnt pay attention before but now everyone on the street has either a skinny or wide belt.
Hmm let’s see…I like the brown ensemble with the belt, and then the white with the skinny belt. I’m a total accesorizer (is that a word?) but I’ve never dared to venture into the world of belts because even at my lowest weight,
I’ve always had a pooch or a wide waist (perpetual size 12 figure). Not sure what your waist is like, but do you think it covers everything or makes you look slimmer (can’t tell in the pics, I think u look great overall even minus belts).
I’ll have to try one sometime!
Me:Are you back from your trip? You know what the belt does is make me stand up straighter. If I slouch, my pooch comes out versus standing up tall and th belt holds everything in/up. This is the first time I like using belts on tops of shirts and whatnot. I am going to experiment more and see what else I can do them
