    Love it! What a difference.

Me: All my kids when they saw me in the red-vest-scarf, exclaimed in surprised and said Mamma, are you going for a party? I’m surprised that even the 4.5 yr old informed me that I looked so pretty.

  2. Prashanti says:

Tied up hair looks verry good on you. :)

Me: Its a nice way of saying I need a haircut right?

  3. ss says:

This is looking great. Very sexy :)

  4. Monika says:

oh yes the tied up hair looks good on u and its not a way of saying u need a haircut its a way of saying grow it girl :D

Me: Sigh, I wish I had long hair. When it starts getting longer, it starts dropping more and more. Sigh. I have to have short hair.

and what magic does a little accessories do

    Me: Doesnt it?

  5. The accessories make such a HUGE difference. It has soooooo brightened up and dazzled up the look. Lovely I say! And I soo , you already have quite a collection of accessories!

Me: GM, I do have scarves and belts and earrings and stuff but why is it that I never wear them is beyond me. It didnt take me long to figure this combination out and yet I have been wearing that black shirt over the beige pants for as long as
I can remember. That googling for the scarf and that blog has helped me alot.Let’s see how long I keep up with this. You know what I need more of is SHOES. I need more shoes.

i am loving this new series of posts!! just how much of a difference can an earring or a necklace make! and thanks for that website on inexpensive style. have been hooked.

hope you don’t mind my unsolicited suggestion – a short crop like halle berry or priyanka gandhi would look so great on you!!

Me:You know I actually want to do a short crop but am waiting till the ahem the double chin recedes a bit more. This lenght is irratating me. I might go and get it cut soon, I think

  7. suma says:

    Nice, nice.

was that a scarf? that is a fab idea. i need to dig into my wardrobe and see what i find, me thinks.

Me: yep. It was a long skinny scarf.

  8. Love the scarf belt and vest! You are rocking that look… girl! How do you manage to tie the scarf into that pretty looking symmetrical bow? I suck at bows!

Me: I thought I sucked at the bow.

Not digging the long earrings with everything. One or the other. vest and the long earrings so close together are distracting from each other.

Me: Hmm.. see I never think of such things. Good point.

  9. Dugi says:

    yes yes YES!
the red layer and cloth belt looks good.
oh yes new shoes..pointy..slip ons will be lovely.
    go you! :)

  10. kay says:

Love the look. what a change these accessories bring in. I like the way you tuned the scarf into the belt, Didn’t like the red vest though. Everything else looks good. :)

Me: I still dont about the whole thing. I feel over-dressed in it. Like I should be out partying instead of running XYZ errand.

  11. Sands says:

very pretty. I think they all flow real well :)

  12. Miss M says:

    Me likey!

Though, I would wear different shoes with that outfit.

Me: Sigh I lust for nice shoes. but with my giant odd sized 10.5W and having to run after my gang, most of my shoes are flat, ugly but comfortable. I am on the hunt for gladiator sandals.

  13. spamwarrior says:

    Like the earrings!

  14. Went through all the previous posts of the weekend..and enjoyed the pics!
The bathrobe comparison was hilarious S, but that’s the one I liked best..with the broad belt :)
The other two were only so-so, honest opinion.

Me: I ignore his opinions. Sometimes, I tell tumse kisne pucha. Sometimes, I tell him dont tell what you think of this outfit because I love it.Once in a while, I listen to him and return something back.

I loved the red vest and scarf-turned belt idea! You look oh-so-cool in them girl :D

    Me:)

hi, have been lurking for a couple of days, cant remember how i got here actually but have loved reading ur posts. just wanted to say ur outfit is really cute, loved that scarf belt. how did u tie it up (as in did u roll and then slip it in the loops)?

Me: waves hello. Love your blog name. Yes, thats exactly how I tied that belt.

i have tons of scarves but i’m so clueless with what to do with them, usually i tie them to my purse and be done with it. i love ur idea and am excited about trying it out!! i agree with someone above with liking the look sans earrings …

Me: Yay. Take a picture and emailed it to me, will you?

  16. Angie says:

I love that second photo, you look so fresh and pretty. I think wearing your hair down is something that many women stop doing as they become moms. It just seems so much easier to wear it back, out of the way. So I’d vote for hair down more often :P

  17. Miss M says:

With your height, you would look superb in gladiators! :)

  18. Poppy says:

Lovely ! I am so impressed with you and your enthu. I am really shy about trying anything different from my usual look! Love the second look the best, you look really young with your hair down.

    Me:) Thanks Poppy-seed.
