These past 3 weeks have been very interesting. Because of my burnt foot, I havent done any cardio. No elliptical, no swimming, no running.Nothing. The first week of my burnt foot, I did a lot of ab work. I also alternated between chest/arms/shoulder exercises. The 2nd week of my burnt foot, I added back squats and lunges and leg lifts and step up on the stool. Last week, I did a bit of walking on the treadmill and a bit of rowing. I finally saw my trainer after 3 weeks of taking off.(I didnt want to waste my money when I couldnt even have a decent workout) So bearing the no cardio in mind, this month has been the month where I have gotten the most compliments on my changing body. People asked me how much weight I have lost and I say not much. BUT, my body has changed. I can feel my tummy shrinking slooowly but surely. I used to have 3 huge love handles and right now there is just a teeny one left.

Fitness wise, I can now do 15 military style push ups. This is huge for me. When I first started back in Feb, I couldnt even do a single one. I used to do the ladies style push-up but not anymore.  I bench press up to 55-60 lbs now. I lift 12.5 hammer and bicep curls and 15.5 for shoulder press with squats.

I recently started doing this. Speed Skaters after each set of weights.( She jumps very wide, I dont jump as wide) So my workout looks like this, do 12 reps of 12.5lbs hammer curl and then speed skate for 1 min, get down on mat and do bicycle crunch. Take a break, drink water. And repeat the above 3x.

I still have about 20 lbs more to lose. I dont know when I will reach that goal weight but I believe I will eventually get there some day.

    Me:Its not F.L.A.T yet. There is still a 3 month old preggo tummy versus the 7 month old I used to have. Ab exercises plus running will get your flat tummy bacha.

    I also have been off my workout since this 1st and will resume only after 20th. Pretty busy till then. But when I start again, I need a nice plan and a schedule and not the usual stuff I do. Will email you for tips :)

    My weight loss regime has nose-dived once winter hit because it was too cold to go running, I was too busy at work to get to my gym classes on time, and comfort food was the way to go.

    Somehow with all the shit I have been eating and not exercising – I’ve only gained 500-750g but I feel like crap.

    You’re my inspiration -let’s get FF up and running again! :D

    Me: FF has died a slow painful death hasnt it? Sigh.

    i guess of all the people who started on fitness fervor, you have been the most consistent and persistent and i can see that is really paying off. I have been on and off in my regime but i have started back again. I get a lot of inspiration from you. I will start keeping pictures too. I think that helps big time.

    Woww Sunita..This is great..really..I went to thegym after 2 long months yesterday and did some low-intensity cardio for 20 minutes..and came back happy..hope I keep up this time.

    What significant differences!!! You are great. Hope to learn some determination from you. You know, if I could just cut down on those chocolates, and that butter, and the cheese left overs from my son and all of that sugar…. SIGH!

    Me: You know, I used to do that as well. Eat all my children’s leftovers because I didnt want to waste food or it was too little to store or because I paid for it so I didnt want to waste it. Finally I got myself to stop eating their leftovers because a) I shouldnt throw away my calories on rubbish and those little bites add up and b) I am not a trash can

    Woww. The difference is so visible. The great thing about losing weight is that it gives you so much of confidence. You “feel” beautiful. The compliments are the icing on the cake :) Keep going!
