This has been a good week. I wore jeans(yesterday), a short skirt(Mon but no pic) and that flowing skirt on Sunday and this long, denim skirt today. The slit was interesting, It was airy while driving. It was another cool day today. Am loving the chill in the air.
I am really proud of how far I have come. Somehow, the last few outfts have been effortless. I just throw them on and feel good. I think my daily outfit has been the best experiment ever. I got a interesting comment which I thought was rude and deleted(on Sunday’s outfit) that most of my outfits seems to like I making too much of an effort to dress up, and the “in” thing is that one looks dressed up but the effort that is required to dress up isnt there. Its late, I am rambling, I forgot how the comment was worded but it was rude and I deleted it. So there!
Tomorrow is Thursday. Woohoo. 2.5 hours free.. Grey’s Anatomy. Private Practice. I cannot wait.

Hey, you look great! I think the cardigan looks awesome. And from what I can see in the pic, the necklace is interesting.. do post a larger pic of it another time.
Me: Thanks Neha. Its a really cool necklace. Will take close up next time.
Hi,
you look fantastic in this outfit! And you should be very proud of your commitment and dedication to your weight loss.
Great work! Keep it up!
Me: Thanks Amrita
I have to compliment you- The last three outfits you posted were awesome and seemed liked you have always been this way. What I am trying to say is it looks effortless, like the chic 20 something girls who I always admire
I especially love the accessories- the shoes, and jewellery!
Priya
Me: I think I have enough cool things now, from all the different rummage/thrift stores hunt. And its easier to dress up.
I like this look. I’ll be watching Grey’s Anatomy too!
I love the top-cardigan-necklace combo. And I agree with you, it seems like you arent putting too much effort but still look put together!
I dont have the guts to wear a skirt
( You look nice.
Me: Why not?
You look awesome girl. I love Old Navy tanks as well. They are the best
You look absolutely stunning. I love skirts.
Nice hair in this pic. Seems in control
I like your outfits on most days…but I think if you do something about the frizz in your hair it will look better…and a little styling…u will kick ass!
Hair can change so much you know!
Me: Sigh hair, the bane of my life. I really need to find style products or get another trim or do something. I am really contemplating getting it cropped really short but am a bit hestitant to take that step.
This looks great. They all seem to go well together. And your hair looks great too.
By the way, yesterday I got my haircut to just above my shoulders. I have had long hair always and it feels different, will put up some pics when I get a chance.
Me: no pictures yet?:)
I must agree to what you say – the last bunch of outfit seem really effortless and you have that ‘huh, this was easy dressing up’ look on you
Way to go gurl ! You so well deserve to be proud of yourself.
Me: Thanks A.
That long jeans skirt looks fantastic..and my jaws dropped when I saw the $1 tag for it. WOW!
LOVE the top part.. the tank top, cardigan and best of all, the silver necklace.
I’d like to see this repeated with a knee length skirt (we know you have one
)
Me: I have a new knee length denim one. I will wear that when it gets warmer. Its been in the 60-70s the past few days.
And the header pic, it can be read R-L too.. Avasha looks totally mischievous and Samar lights up your screen!
Me: Neil lights up the screen. Samar is absent, he was sleeping at home with NK.
As for Thurs, you dont watch “Project Runway”? I signed up for a sewing class inspired by that show
Me:Nope I dont. Sewing class? Nice..what project are you working on?
skirts way too long… no shape, sorry! I think knee length skirts would be better on you.
Me: really I thought it looked slimming. Maybe I wear rose tinted glasses?
I kind of felt the skirt was too long … but you look fab
) …
It was sometime since you posted pics near the stairs (usually thats where you take your pics
Me: I scream/beg/bribe the girls to come and gently take my picture. My heart skips a beat as they carelessly touch my DSLR..The stairs is in front of my apt.
I like the light there. No flash required. Though it can get quite sunny.
Whoah! That’s HAWTT! Love the skirt, love the entire thing
I finished 2 levels of sewing now. Level 1 we did a pajama and level 2 a pencil skirt. I’ll put up a pic.
Me: Nice! Please do put the pic
Honey, u need to check out some pictures of me. In a skirt I will be the perfect example of a look-at-my butt person.
Me: Stop it! Am going to hunt for your pic on FB.
