Nk: Its Oct 1st. Ek Saal kaha gaya.
Me: I know. How did we survive one year in Snotty Bay Area?
NK: So what achievements have you done in the past one year
Me: Let’s see..I ran 2 5ks. I lost 2 dress sizes. I am dressing much better than ever. I am taking a photography class. Ohh I am the membership person for the preschool. My youngest child is almost potty trained.Your turn
Nk: I still have a job.
Me: You know I am going to blog about this right?
NK: Please do write that all of the above was only possible because I have a job
Dress/Tunic worn here here. I still feel preggo in it.
Leggins: Awesome purple leggins from Ross. $3.99 and they fit very well. I am going to go back and get one n the hot pink color they had
Gold Ballet Flats
Necklace. A beautiful rose quartz necklace, that I bought from a church sale this past Sat. They wanted $40 and eventually she sold it to for $3. It comes with matching earrings.
Bangles from India.
PS: Is anyone sick of my daily outfits yet?

I love the outfit, but feel bad that I bought a similar pair for glasses for double the price
Me: I was suprised that it was only $5.Original tag was $19.99
Hey we’re not snotty here – well not all of us anyway
Me:
, You still reading me? I thought you would have given up when I rant and rave about area and prices and what not?
Nono not sick. You look fab. Love the huge sleeves. Tell Nk he kept his job because of you!
Me: There is a long story about how he got this job. Remind me to tell you someday.
Lolz tell NK your one year evaluation is more productive than his ahem…job
OMG bargaining skills work in this part of the world too? u got that for 3 after they asked $40?? *sakshi faints in her fluorescent pink pyjamas *
haha Nk’s funny
and you look H O T as usual
Congrats on the achievements! Once I’ve been here for a year I hope I will have as good a report as you.
Co-dependence…they keep their jobs because of us and we get the moolah because of them!
the queen pic rocks! i loovvvveee the daily outfit pics (really).
u’ve done very well this year.
the daily outfits are fun. I like these posts.
i like the glasses and the tunic and even the purple tights.
I tend to think that bright colour tights aren’t that nice compared to basic black, dark brown, grey or white.
But give it a go – it may suit you.
Me: I bought this tunic thing that is white with pink flowers and it is screaming for hot pink tights. I can visualize it. I am going to wear it for the boys’s party.
that’s a great appraisal of the year gone by!
and teh pics look fab..you’ve slimmed down a lot.
so go do someting special:)
what a conversation!! lol.. but this year has really gone by quite fast.. makes me think what have i been upto..
n hey do continue the outfit series as long as possible
. we are loving it..
Me: Aww thanks Tara.
Definitely not sick of ur outfits… in fact i think i have started looking at what people wear around me with a more critical eye…I love the purple tights… hmm, hot pink u say? it may be quite interesting as well isnt it…
As far as achievements go, from a professional aspect, I would have to give NK the credit… I escaped a redundancy last year and have just about managed to hang on to my job in this economic scene… Fingers crossed, things are kind of getting better now… From a personal aspect, U win definitely!!! 2 dress sizes amazing…
Me:
..I think anyone who has a job is heaving a huge sigh of relief.
I am so not sick of your daily outfits!!! LOVE this “queen” outfit. I don’t think you look preggo in the dress – just a beautiful Mom!
no, im not tired of the outfits yet – i think I love you for posting them. NK is funny. Your achievements were great Sunita!
Me: Thanks!
Hahaha! Why hello hottie!
I love these conversations! Stuff of good times:-)
Keep rocking those outfits, S!
No , we are inspired to dress better by coming to this site everyday . Dress looks very nice here.
Me: Thanks Kay
Keep going….I don’t think i’ll get sick of you / your daily outfits anytime soon…You are getting better day by day:)Looking good with hair tied.
In some of the older snaps , your hair looked thin[the only flaw tat crossed my mind ]. You got to do something with your hair, then it’ll be awesome – May be a hair volumizer?
I use one for parties and stuff…Trust me here, it’s awesome.
Me: Okay you need to give me more details. What brand? How do you use it? Maybe I can sort my hair out then.
I bought leggings for $35 at express one day before my vacation in the summer. Had no time to look around, and though I don’t remember now, I must have been mad at the husband and wallowing in self pity and thoughts such as how much I do and get nth in return and how I should pamper myself coz noone else does…
Then I saw and got another one at 9.99 (and a 20% on that) at my employer and appropriately cursed myself.
And now I will go and drown myself somewhere.
Me: rofl.. $35 for leggings? You should have gone for a manicure/pedicure instead.
PS: You look great.
And NK has a great sense of humor
Me: At times, it does come through.
sick? U must be kidding. U inspire me about style!
Dress and leggings look great
Me: Thanks Sue
You nailed this outfit. Can you try long earrings sometime? The shades are cool..
Me:I need to organize my earings better. I have them in boxes now and its a pain going through seeing which one goes with my outfit. I do wear the long dangly ones alot..
LOL, loved how NK finished the convo.
Pls continue the outfit series!
Yeah, you manage to pull off the outfit series where it might look vain on another’s blog! The outfit posts are comfort reading for me as I trawl my feed reader.
Me: comfort reading? pfft..did you answer my question? The comment I left on your kiwi shoe polish wala post?
