Tree Pose

Tree Pose

Tank top: Old Navy
Cardigan: Its an old cardigan that I bought 2 years ago. Dont remmeber from where.
Skirt:Gap Thrifted
Tights: Ross
Necklace:Thrifted
Gold Ballet Flats
I worked in Samar’s classroom yesterday in this outfit. If I wasnt working in his class, I might have skipped the tights. Though the skirt is slightly shorter than what I would normally wear.I know most of you hate the skirt with tights combo but for some reason, I keep coming back to it, because a)it makes me feel like I am 12 and b) I feel hip.

This pic was taken at 4 in the afternoon. I couldnt go to the gym and was doing a few exercises at home and thought to take a picture in my fav yoga pose before changing my clothes. In between  working in Samar’s class, composing the final lines of yesterday post, getting ready for my photography class and my yoga exercises, I was exhausted. NK took the kids out to the library and then dinner. All 4 were sleeping by the time I came home from the class.
Talking about the class, I am loving it. We watched a movie The Roots of California, very inspiring. We are done with all the menu functions and what buttons and crap does what. She is now going into the  art of photography. S curve lines, composition. She gave us an exercise to do, a square window cut into a piece of paper. To see the world through the window. Staring at the whole face or walking and taking a close up of the eye. Next week, she will be bringing in her studio lights and backdrops and we will be taking pictures of fruits and veggies.  Am excited. The picture in my header, turned out crappy when I printed it at Walgreens. When I showed it to my instructor, she said Walgreens does that and she wants me to use another online printing company which is actually cheaper than Walgreens.
Tomorrow is Thursday. I am either going to make an appt for my haircut or go hiking with my friend. I lead a very thrilling life.

Sunita, I’m sure you’ve said before, but what camera do you use?

Me: Angie, I use a Nikon D80.. Are you in the market for one? The latest one is Nikon D90. I dont know whether you are a Canon or Nikon? And most photos on the blog are taken with my fav prime 50mm f/1.8 lense. I do sound like I know this shit but trust me I dont.

    Nice colors!
I dont think tights is a good look for you, neither are short skirts- since they seem to cut off your height. How about trying A-line skirts instead?
Im into yoga too… isnt it wonderful?

  6. Kay says:

Which company did she suggest? I usually use snapfish and they print well.

Me: She said Whcc is good. One of the other students printed his at there and it was really good.
