Update on FIL. He is now discharged from the hospital and is at home. He is going to have another MRI in a month. He is walking.talking.eating on his own. He recognizes everyone and in general, I thin doing extremely well, considering his scare merely a week ago.
NK will be back the week of 26-27-28th Nov. Long story, the American embassy in Singapore, the earliest appt date is 23rd Nov and thats the date he is going to go with. I am pissed but what can I do? The stupid embassy will be close for 10 days for Apec meetings which Singapore is hosting. Why the embassy has to close is beyond me! Sigh…
I have 2 sitters lined up to help me in case I need them. They work at the gym’s daycare and the kids know them well. One of them is going to come tomorrow. I dont have my photography class because of some election but have a preschool meeting which I need to attend. I am looking forward to getting away from the monsters. MY crying has also stopped, in case you were wondering.
On an unrelated note, if anyone of you works or knows someone who works in the analytics industry in Delhi (Statistical Modeling, Data Analysis and forecasting), could you help TnD out.

It is great to hear that you have comfortable sitters you could count on. It took me a long time to find a sitter that will work for my toddler. It is a comfort to have a reliable one and you have two, that is great.
Me: This would be the first time she is babysitting for me but because she watches them at the gym, I dont have any concerns.

Btw, I went for my first thrift shop hunt 2 weeks back, of course inspired from your majesty’s posts:)
I got 1 cute necklace ,some books, a halloween decor + a scarf. They had lot’s of clothes, but to be frank i didn’t even feel like touching them. It smelled like dust . I guess i went to the wrong place.
Me: You know, all thrifts stores have the ummh weird smell. You just have to get used to it or buy retail
But i am really happy that i made that trip ‘coz of the other finds…..Thank You dear.

Me: The ones in Singapore isnt normally this crazy. But because of the Apec thing, it seems like all dates are booked.
