How is that for total geekiness? And I am going to go ahead and call it my birthday present.I went ahead and bought asaaan.com. Not only did I stay up till 2a/m trying to figure out how to upload my 625 posts from WP to my own domain , I also figured out how to set up forwarding from asaaan.wordpress.com to asaaan.com. Because you know I dont want to lose a single reader.
I bought the domain mapping for one year. I guess after one year, I will make my WP blog private. I now need to figure out how to ads and start racking in the moolah.
I also like being admin. Nice ring to it.. Do you like this theme? I like it because it has 5 rotating header pictures but the sizing makes it really distorted.
Expect a few more changes to come through during the next few days.

The pictures… especially the one illuminating Avasha’s lovely face is superb… those photography class techniques are surely showing
Me: We went to a museum and they had a dark room filled with lights and different colored plastic things that they placed over the lights to throw colors. Because of the class, I knew to crank up my ISO to 500 and lower my shutter speed and when I was doing those changes I thought to myself, oh wow, a few months ago I wouldnt even know wtf is ISO
I need to go back there with my tripod and shoot pictures, I had quite a few blurry ones because of my hand shake. The class is ending this week. We have a night shoot on Tues and then the final printing class on Thursday.. I might take sign up for the advanced one. Oh maybe a language class. Since NK owes me so much, he cannot complain.

Not to start an argument, but, I totally disagree with Guddi’s comment that “self bought is never a gift. expect more, expect more…”…you have the knack of showing yourself a great time on your birthday, regardless of anyone/anything else and thats all there should be to it. Nothing beats that kind of independence!

Hey wow! I was catching up on your posts and hadn’t realised the new domain name… am super impressed with the forwarding! Usually when someone shifts you have to change your Reader settings yourself…
I did notice the new theme; think it’s very nice! My only gripe is that now you’re off WP.com, my comments won’t show up in the My Comments part of my dashboard, so I won’t be able to see your replies easily. And there’s no option to be emailed follow-up comments, either…
