Its 15 mins to 1a/m and I am up finishing NK’s wine. The babies are sleeping, the spouse is asleep, the presents wrapped and the room somewhat empty.
I dont know how the kids are going to react tomorrow. Apparently Neil wanted a DS and in his words”Santa is going to bring me one because I wanted Power Rangers last year and I got it” Santa isn’t obviously going to bring another DS into the Asaan household when there is already one DS and a PS3. He got a Ben 10 book. Samar got a Pokemon Book. Avasha wanted a real dog and Pixos. The real dog would come when the kids are in their teen years if at all. Pixos is wrapped and under the tree. Ashwina got a book.
The girls got a craft kit(to share) and the boys got a remote control dinosaur to share. NK and I don’t exchange gifts(unless he shocks annoys surprises me like last year or he is hiding something from India which I doubt!!)
And that’s it! They are going to appreciate it even if it kills them.
PS:We(meaning the monsters,NK and I) made a trip to the thrift store to check out the table. NK still hasn’t seen it. He likes it. We might go back on Sat morning and pick it up and dump it in the new house. If so, then that will be my Christmas present.
If you tilt your head 90 deg, close one eye and hop on one foot, you can actually call it a sea view

merry christmas, everyone
Have fun! Love your window view.
That’s your view?? Lucky lucky. Merry kissmass to all there!
merry christmas, sraikh and family!
the view from your living room is lovely!
Me: Thanks T!
Season’s greetings Sunita! I got back from a six day road trip and sigh it was exhausting (dont think I can be on the road for more than 2 days:(..Im sure the kids will be pleased with their presents:)..My friend’s sons asked her for ipods and she was so flabbergasted!! She just got them one cd player for both of them to share:).
Me: They seemed fine with what they got. I took down my tree today and Samar wanted to know why and whether Santa was coming again tonight.
Happy holidays to you all! The view is amazing … I would be calling it a sea view without any apologies. I see the tops of some buildings downtown after doing the closing eye and hopping thing and go around telling everyone I have a downtown view
Me: rofl.
The view is wonderful. We get a similar view of the bay if we hike a few miles so you are lucky
Happy holidays, sounds like a fun Christmas.
