Thankfully, before I amassed a collection of belts I realised I have a short torso, so there's just no way to make it look good :( I never spent so much time thinking about my body type earlier, but now I have a better understanding of what will work for me so I pick better off the racks and dont have that much frustration when cute stuff just doesnt look right on my shape. I've been dressing like I used to in India, so basically when I saw plain T's etc I would pass them by because they were just too plain and dull to wear alone. I've finally figured out layering (duh!! also I'm not the sharpest observer, I had to really think about all the outfits I was looking at) due to blogs. So this winter for the first time, I bought basic T's in all the possible colors. And they've been so great to wear under t-shirts, shirts, dresses, sweaters ....
