Daily Outfit

Shirt: Mervyns worn here.

Skirt: Thrifted

Cardigan thing god knows from where.

Boots: Thrifted

Silver necklace:Thrifted

Earring Hoops: Gift from sister

Completely unrelated to daily outfit but I realized I have to use my internal self edit button(I picked up this phrase from another blog).Examples of convo below:

Example 1:

Friendly neighbour: So what do you have to do to rent from the church?

Me: You have to sell your soul to them.

Example 2:

I was kitchen mom for Samar’s preschool. I made palak paneer, raita, rice and kheer for the moms. I put a little label beside the pot for all the food, giving Indian name plus english translation save for rice.

Mom: So is this like regular rice or Indian rice?

Me: Its white people rice.

Internal self edit button broken!

  4. What did the mom in question really want to ask? Did she mean to ask if it was some speciality Indian rice dish?

Those are good replies. People need to be ready for such responses when they ask stupid questions like the rice one. The other one was just plain obnoxious but very funny :)
