I think this layering business is very tricky. My rule as long as one color does not scream for attention, it is not match much. His hair is adorable. Does he like it?
I love your pulled back hair !!
Is Samar ok with his hair ?? If not, pls tell him he has me in company
Me: He hates washing his hair and would scream my hair is wet. Check out older son’s hair as well. You have NK for company. He is dying to cut their hair.
I must be honest that I don’t think this look is very flattering on you. The scarf, belt, collar shirt and shoes could go.
I think the blue tunic and tights with flats, a soft cardi and a thin long necklace is another option. I do like your hair pulled back and the pose! Samar is cuteee!!
Me: The 10 yr old said I looked like I was going to school. The outfit was like a uniform.
Omigod! even before I can read the rest heres my “wow!” I could’ve never carried this off but you look Fab. Proves my theory that people make the clothes or something like that(not other way around).
Been lurking around for quite a while, but this outfit just had to have me delurk.
I love your “couldnt care less” attitude, for me that’s something I have always wanted to have but never got around to it!
I like the way you’ve layered stuff here, although a lighter shade on shawl or a tan/brown dress would probably look a whole lot better. But hey, its just my opinion.
Me: waves hello. I wanted to add pattern to the outfit and this is my only patterened shawl. I did feel quite hip in this outfit though
Hiya… um – I do not like that shawl for some reason. I think the outfit was cute and I do like the idea of tucking the shawl under the belt…but that print on the shawl just disturbed me. Not sure why… Perhaps on your next shopping adventure you can look for a bag with a leopard print instead. Liked the hair pulled back and overall, you look great! Don’t forget to “smile” for the camera!
I’d be soo intimidated if I were one of samar’s classmates’ mom.

Me: he does ..He refuses to cut it
I love this look, hair pulled back, on the go….I am no style experts, but I like.
And don’t cut his hair, its cute.
