Monday Moneysavers

Some tea perhaps

I saw this sexy bar cart at my fav thrift store. I fondled it,left it there and came back home. The next morning, I went back and bought it. I thought I would list on craigslists and see whether she sells, If she does, then good! And if she doesnt, then even better(I do have someone coming tomorrow to see her)See the green  shrub in the tea cup below, its been there since this post in Jan.  The candle pedestal thing, 50cents each from an estate sale. It has its $12.99 Pottery Barn price tag on it still.

Teacup tier thing

The tea cup tier thing, I dont know what it actually is. Is it meant for  tea cups? Is it something else? It fits the saucers perfectly and thats how I am going to use it.

Ghostly curtains

It took me 3 months to find these curtain rods. I wanted 3 similar curtains rods and kept looking and looking. I found this two at goodwill back in Dec and then finally 2 weeks ago, I found the 3rd one. This rooms gets really sunny in the morning and we needed curtains in it. I love how fabric always softens up a room.

I love the way the tea cups fit. If not used for tea, I can also see assorted candies – ok, I think about edibles way too much.

Late as usual..but I looove the curtains!I can just imagine how lovely they look filtering the bright sunshine on to those gorgeous wooden floors…you must post some pics on how the whole place looks now that you’ve added all these cute pieces…my two-cents worth;less is more when you have a bright sunny room with wooden floors…and lots of fresh flowers and green potted plants.

Where did you find the space for all that stuff? I have hidden my teapot(s) and couldn’t find them again.

I don’t have curtains at all – because I do not know how to set them up. You’re now a domestic goddess :-)

Good thing is that my farmhouse has been built to keep the sun out – so we live in the dark all year round.
