The last post generated quite a bit of interest. A few emails asking whether I killed NK, another asking whether my marriage was dissolving. I said it in that post and am saying it again. Nk is still alive and kicking, my marriage is still sound and I am fine.
I have had quite a busy week. Monday I had a playdate at my house and Avasha’s conference(my child is brilliant, no concerns, tests are all good, does homework), Tues I had another playdate at my house. In the evening, I went to the desi store for chai leaves and other spices for something which I am going to tell in a minute. Today, Samar and I headed to the farmer’s market. That boy felt special going alone with me. We bought strawberries and flowers. Avasha had drama club, Neil had a field trip.And it was St Patrick’s Day.
Tomorrow,Ashwina has flute(a friend is bringing her back and forth) Avasha has dance practice. I have to go to the Asian store to get more supplies. Sat morning, Samar’s preschool has an Easter egg hunt,after that Ashwina and I are doing Girl Scout cookies selling at Safeway, then I am heading with another friend to a clothing swap and Ashwina is going to her first sleepover party.
Sunday is going to be my big cooking class. 4 moms from Samar’s preschool are going to come over for a cooking class. The menu is

I will have samosas, Haldiram’s some chivda mix, wine and chai. I assembled a 4 spice kit to give to each mom to bring home.(Garam masala, powdered and whole, Amchur and Chana masala).Wish me luck. I hope the moms will go away with something.

Me: I synced my google calendar with my G1 phone. I have email and pop up reminders about alot of things. However, my oldest child has forgotten her flute 3 times now and I had to drive it over to her. The flute reminder is going onto the calendar as we speak.
I just realised that my grandmother had 4 kids too. I wonder if her life was as busy as yours!
Me: I am assuming yes, unless she had tons of live in help. Oh wait..she must have her family and relatives around and that helps. I dont have any family around so it sucks
