Pillowcase Dress/Pjamas Pants

I made one. Lots of tutorials all over the web..You grab a pillowcase, you cut the armholes and sew up a casing and insert ribbon. 99 cents 100% really soft cotton pillowcase with a lacy border from Savers. Ribbon from stash. I sometimes look at my kids and then look at NK and then look at the mirror and think really my kids are beautiful… Where did they get their looks?

She looks angelic but believe me she isnt

This one, I sewed the bias tape to the armhole.

Its looks so much nicer but the bias tape was a pain to sew.And it looks horrible if one looks closely at it.

Pajamas pants.. I took another class last Thursday

I brought one of his pants to the class and we followed the pattern. My instructor told me how to draft a pattern. Its hard work drafting one and then cutting the damm fabric.( This fabric came from the free CL stash). I didnt have the right elastic size so the waist is all wonky and bunched up,but who cares. A) its PJs and B) he is a boy. The girls otoh, would have refused to wear the thing until and unless I fixed it.

I have so much going on…I am in charge of Neil’s year end class party(teddy bear’s picnic is my idea), I have the co-op crap, I have Ashwina’s stuff going(she is going on a week long outdoor ed class, she has some GS this weekend, she had an overnight camping last weekend), not to mention the party tomorrow. I have been really stressed about quite a few things and my response has been to ignore emails. So I had people emailing me am I still alive because I am very prompt with my email. Which I thought was hilarious.

Anyways, I am rambling.. I miss blogging, where I write whatever I want..Using whatever words I want. Now too many people I know read this and it feels weird ranting and raving and then having to act normal when I see those people.

can’t stop laughing at your thinking where the kids got the looks from. But I tell ya they are really precious and you stun me every single time. When I meet you am planning to carry a note book and jot down secretly how you do all the stuff under the sun with such ease and at the same time keep these gorgeous 4 angels smiling

You took photography lessons and now sewing classes too? And here I sit and sulk at not finding a place to learn photography.
