I somehow lost the zeal of blogging. Hence, the no posts. I mean how much can you hear about what was the latest thrifting thing I found. Or Samar had another bad outbreak(he ate rice) or that I am still not working out. In other words, things are what they were over the past 2 months. The girls are in Girl Scout camp this week. The boys will have summer camp and I will have 2 glorious days( 3 hours each) of NO KIDS!
Last week, one of my fav thrift stores underwent a major re hauling. They threw out a lot of things. Organized their furniture. Best of all they did this to their shelves
See the white teapot, brand new from Starbucks. Bought it and gave it away. The blue Grecian vase, Samar’s preschool teacher bought it to use as a prop in a play she is doing.
I bought quite a few thing. Another Villeroy and Boch.
This is what I got
I know hate me now!

Enjoy your shopping !!
What plans have you made for the 2 glorious days mentioned above? Hope you have fun.
Regarding the marble piece, was reminded of my mom’s chapati making marble … sooooo resembles this piece
Wow, good stuff. Enjoy your shopping!
I love the fan-shaped ones! So pretty!
Me: I dont know what I am going to use those for yet.
I wish you would write more posts, but you’re right to slack off when your interest level goes down. I mean, I’d hate for you to feel that maintaining your blog is just another daily chore! It might make you stop blogging completely and I really WOULD be disappointed then – and I bet I speak for a whole lotta others.
Me:Aww sweet comment. Thanks!
The only reason why I don’t buy the cute things I see is because of lack of storage space. Maybe you can share some storage and organization ideas. That’s something to write about right??
Me: Sigh storage.. How awesome would it be to have a huge house with unlimited storage.
Wow.. where is this thrift shop??? Can I find one in Fremont??
Me: Uhmm didnt you just had a baby. Use yelp and figure out where the good ones are
The blue cup is truly beautiful!!

Lucky you!!
Me: I like it as well
BTW, I never get bored of your Monday Moneysavers or your posts on your kids
Its a wonder how you manage four kids all by yourself and maybe thats why, I hop over at times to take a few tips
Do keep posting
Me: HA! I ignore them and let them run wild most of the time.
One real lucky soul you are..what awesome stuff there!
But, S, I do missed your regular posts on kids/updates/interesting ‘encounters’ ..love to read them no matter what.
So, come on now, no skipping the regular posts, ok? Ok.
I second CA. That marble does look like my mom’s chapathi rolling stone. Love hopping over here to read about your monday moneysavers and about your kids. Do keep writing.
Hate you now!
those fan shaped thingies are so cute
Just found your blog through ATG. I love hearing about your thrifting experiences and your family. Keep going Sunita, even if it isn’t everyday I’ll still be here to read you.
Me: waves hello!
