Monday moneysavers

The last estate sale I went to was the one where I was given the no 1.there have been no estate sales because of the holiday weekend.

However, I still found some goodies. Clueless emailed me about this beautiful Morreddi table in Goodwill 25 miles away. I drove and picked it up

I brought it home and dusted it, and applied a thin layer of olive oil.

I sold it yesterday at the faire. A buyer bought 4 large MCM items.

I found a collection of kokeshi dolls at my local thrift store.

I sold 4 of them. I asked 2 Japanese buyers the artist signature and they told. I have 3 listed on eBay right.

Interesting thing happened. Someone told me they read my blog after seeing my business cards. She said tell my spouse I do real work and that my kids are beautiful. Second time it happened ;)

The fair yesterday was good for me. I sold 5 large items. I got rid of quite a bit of my smalls. We had a $5 table and people bought stuff off that. Sandi displayed this thread spool holder. I was very happy with the way we were set up.

The family came out to visit and to help us pack. The boys convinced Sandi to give them her wooden puzzles. I spread a blanket and they spent oh about 15 mins playing

The only shitty thing, the trailer had a flat. Sandi and I were thrilled that we would be home early since both our spouse were there to help us pack. I called the uhaul emergency number and the mechanic took over an hour to come out.
He eventually arrived, changed the flat tyre and we got on our way. My mum made chai for me, and I went to bed exhausted. I leave you a picture of my monsters. They crack me up.
